The idea for this vodka came to an employee of Chase when he was at a food market and sampled some of the smoked salmon. It was through this that he thought it would be a great idea to create a smoked vodka. Upon pitching the idea to William Chase, the product was in production the next day. The Oak Smoked Vodka is created the same way as their English Potato Vodka but to give the vodka the flavour they naturally infuse the smoke permeating the spirit over a period of around a week inside a specially made smoke chamber.
