Porseleinberg’s 2014 Syrah has a very pure bouquet of blackberry, briary, hints of crushed violet and iris all with wonderful delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin. The medium-bodied palate is enlivened with just the right amount of acidity. Plenty of raspberry fruit underlain with spice and treacly depth contribute to this South Afircan gem.
