Nederburg The Young Airhawk Sauvignon Blanc 75cl

  • Country: South Africa
  • Region: Western Cape
  • Grape Varietals: Sauvignon Blanc

This wine pays tribute to Johann Graue’s son, Arnold. Arnold introduced many technical innovations in his short life; he died tragically at 29 in a light aircraft crash. This wine is made entirely from barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc; the grapes hand-harvested from cool-climate vineyards in Elim, Darling and Durbanville. Aged on its lees for about ten months in small barrels, the wine develops creaminess and complexity. Aromas of green figs and asparagus met on the palate with texture and a minerally finish.

Enjoy with fresh seafood as well as chicken and pasta dishes, vegetables and fresh summer salads
